US based dietary supplement company seeking an experienced Account/Marketing Manager (preferably in OTC Pharmaceuticals/Dietary Supplements) to oversee Icelandic operations. This is contractor, work from home position that requires self discipline and travel. In this exciting and lucrative role, you will be responsible for the development and execution of sales, marketing, growth and brand strategy. The ideal candidate is honest, creative, business-oriented, and result-driven; a salesman/woman and marketer with strong management skills, extraordinary sales skills, great interpersonal skills, strong business acumen and solid branding experience.

  • Self motivated, job based from home office/travel throughout Iceland required
  • Highly competent computer skills and knowledge
  • Effective sales and marketing strategy skills; In store pop-ups, displays and promotional events, social media marketing, direct website marketing, etc.
  • Strong local sales and marketing know-how in a competitive environment
  • Good intrapersonal skills for effective relationship building and communication
  • Experience in an international B2B environment preferred
  • Advanced written and spoken English
  • Prefer University degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or equivalent and/or minimum 5 years of Marketing/Account Management experience, preferably in the OTC Pharmaceutical or Dietary Supplement Field


  • Develop, maintain and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to include learning and integrating corporate required marketing techniques in overall strategy
  • Manage product sales, marketing, promotions, launches, core positioning and messaging
  • Gather market intelligence and conduct competitor analysis
  • Work effectively with product teams in multiple geographies
  • Acting as a good ambassador and taking pride in brand you represent
